I'd like to share a personal win. And a message for you.

Back on August 21, 2021 — the day after I walked away from radio, and my first day as myself, an openly trans woman named Dana — my weight was 191.9 pounds. When I moved back to Colorado at the beginning of 2023 to take the job at Indie 102.3, my weight was up to 221.2 pounds. By last January, I was up to 256.2 pounds. On the first Monday of 2026, January 5, I was 234.7 pounds and decided to get very serious about getting my health in order — specifically my diet. This morning, I just weighed in at 199.5 pounds. No, I haven't reached my goals yet, but ... this is a nice milestone. ✨🥰✨

But there's a bigger lesson here: The world may be feel scary and chaotic and devoid of hope, but you still should and can have some personal wins. In fact, there's no better time than now to chase those personal wins. Find your joy, chase that light in the dark. The more the world around you spirals out of control, the more you should defiantly take control of your own destiny. You know that dog with a hat, sitting with his coffee mug in a room that's on fire, who says, "This is fine"? Maybe he wasn't being sarcastic after all. We are all going to be OK. ✨

There's a personal win for you out there somewhere, just waiting for you to find it and claim it.
