Not this one. it's built in Pierre de Volvic (a type of lava stone). Clermont is the capital of Auvergne, in the volcanic center of France. π

I made another one of those, because I made way too many of these round pieces in airdry clay π

A few more pics.
And getting closer and closer to the end. I glued the backing on and I just have the border and clasp to add.

Finally some times to progress with this. Sure, if I hadn't stopped for a month or so to crochet a giant blanket, 'd probably more ahead π

Thanks π
Bonne et heureuse AnnΓ©e 2026 ! π
Thanks ! I hope so π
And now I'm doing this. This time it's a true bead embroidered cuff bracelet. I figure that's a third option to use the little painting.
I did something more convoluted at first but I didn't like it, so stripes it is. π

The links feel a bit flimsy to me, but it does look nice xD
I could/should probably tighten the links together. π§
But that was a cool second experiment.

I wanted to try a slightly different approach with less beading, so I made a new batch of paintings (the acrylic paint cracked on the white gouache background, with a really great effect). I stuck bugle beads to the sides this time.

I wore it the other day, the links are pretty solid. The beading isn't perfect but the experiment is successful. π

On to make some stuff :D
Sticking beads to the side of the little rectangles to use them as elements for a beaded bracelet !
#beading #beadedbracelet #airdryclay #uvresin
They're not all successful, i'm experimenting ! π

More of these (I really made a bunch, lol)

And then, I realised I could make little airdry clay rectangles and paint on them and cover them in UV resin to make little rectangular cabochonsβ¦
It never ends. So now i'm doing this. (and making stuff with those)

Then I made a bunch of beaded bracelets for birthdays in October. So many people in my family were born in October π

Project Skull completely fell by the wayside while I made a bunch of stuff involving air-drying clay, instead π
A beaded pendant and necklace inspired from kits I see on etsy, where I made the medallion and cabochons myself (β¦ with molds I bought, tho).

β¦ hasamaru π
β¦ due to an early gloopy varnish mishaps, skulls had to be cleaned up and recolored to some extent.

How it's going
it's really more difficult to amend stuff on a physical object than on a drawing π
plus the fact that adding removing stuff from a finished beadling is always a bit of a pain since you have to fasten everything to other beads, because you can't go through the backing anymore.
It's not terrible, but it's added difficulty.
the symmetry disturbs me somehow, to the point I've actually been thinking about removing them
(which is a tall order when you add stuff on the go, because removing them after that might cause all the adjacent beads to become loose.)
β¦ I feel like putting a lone flower in there is a faux-pas for me. because why add flowers if there isn't gonna be a lot of them. but then I also don't feel ok about another brooch I made earlier where I put two big flowers on each side and
