I talked to my former intern a little while ago about how my career started, how I decided what city to move to, etc. When I reminded her that I graduated college in 2008 we both paused, thinking how relevant my story could be to hers.

Thinking about how coming of age into the 2008 financial crisis fucked Millennials from the jump and many of us are still recovering, and how exactly the same thing is now happening to the Zoomers. It's almost as though cyclical recessions limit economic mobility societally or something.
