I told @foobly.bsky.social to guess who was nominated and gave a clue: he can’t go there ‘cause the plane would probably explode during landing or something.

YAY I WILL CLAIM SOME CREDIT IN HAVING IT HAPPEN

This meant I made it like *five minutes* into the show.

Well, that's disappointing. Er, the change, not that you weren't hallucinating.

I turned on Supergirl on amazon and turned it off as soon as asshole piece of shit Dean Cain showed up.

Being competent, reasonably competitive, and trustworthy will get you a lot of repeat business from us.

(We've been taken advantage of lots. The thing is, you get to do that *once*, and after that we go to someone else.)

... I find myself wondering how long until attractive nuisance laws get expanded...

It's what I was told about Keanu Reeves' early career: he kept getting work because he showed up on time, lines memorized, didn't fight with the director or writer(s), and never had to have a Fixer come in to deal with his hotel room. And then he *kept* that attitude.

This is even worse, as it's "You need to *rebuy* this issue that you already have if you want to know the whole story." Which is *stupid*.

Never heard of them, so I have just purchased the first one.

Honestly, it is *super close* to being a Culture novel.

This quote is literal nightmare fuel. I may splurge and get some copies of @seananmcguire.bsky.social's Kingdom of Needle and Bone, where the first part *did* cause me nightmares.

Well you should hurry up and read Outlaw Planet then!

Also, Ookla could be voiced by Vin Diesel.

Momoa could play Thundarr, I think.

It's cliche, I know, but Morena Baccarin for Ariel. (Also, for Ariel in the adaptation of Ariel.)

My first guess was ON YOU A FAST BUT AGOUTIS SPELL; once I figured out the 4th word, it was easy.

Everyone knows that you're supposed to have an odd number of middles, otherwise you just have a median.

I honestly wasn't sure if it was a re-issue, or a sequel to a book that had come out in 2020, or a typo. :)

Well, actually, just one act:

Prologue
Act I
Epilogue
Coda

Why does the cover say 2020?

Can *both* parties be found guilty and sent to prison in a civil case?

Actually, what I said was that school counts as *commuting*, and it absolutely does, for the reasons I listed above.

10 hours ago 3 0 0 0

I mentioned "work" with regards to commute. The aspect "school" and "work" share is that many people go to the same place, on the same schedule, and don't generally have a choice about whether or not to go.

For that purpose, school counts as work.

My first guess was AGOUTIS ARE PAYER

Either you are more literal than I’ve known you to be, or you’re being deliberately obtuse.
