David Ellison will soon control CNN. In response, I wrote to Democracy Docket subscribers today about the importance and urgency of building a strong independent media ecosystem.

And just like that, I paid for a Claude AI - Pro account. #AskClaude @anthropic.com

So…. Let me see if I’ve got this. Immigrants are rapists and criminals who are qualifying for mortgages which makes them responsible for the housing crisis, eating the pets in the neighborhood while simultaneously smuggling in diseased cows all while working as day laborers at Home Depot….
This little B!tch is spiraling
Who’s missing that government shutdown now… Looking at you DJT
What does it say when the most effective communicator on the necessity for expanded subsidies and healthcare reform has been Marjorie Taylor Green…. Democratic Congressional Leadership sucks
80% of Democratic voters want a new leader in the Senate.
Does that matter at all to Democratic senators?
Let’s face it. When Chuck Schumer came out with his one year extension deal and a day later folded, it had shades of what happened in the spring. One day he was out on the Senate floor saying they couldn’t support anything and the next day the Senate Dems raised the white flag.
We didn’t show how despicable R’s are. We showed how weak D’s are. Trump was playing golf, tweeting pics of his ballroom and attending an NFL game. Newsflash… everyone knew Rs didn’t give a crap about children or healthcare. If we weren’t prepared to fight, then shouldn’t have shut down the govt.
Hard to see @schumer.senate.gov being able to stay in leadership after this or in the senate, he was not the man for this moment
Dems are settling for a moral victory and now the threat of a shutdown is meaningless. We all knew that Republicans were fine with people losing healthcare after the BBB. And we just gave up any leverage we had… right after the voters told us to keep fighting.
Well, he’s not a leader if he can’t hold his caucus and he should be replaced
Guys, I feel like a strongly worded letter is on its way from @democrats.senate.gov
Well, now people who lose their healthcare will now know who to blame, THE DEMOCRATS @democrats.senate.gov
This right here.
So the lesson is if Republicans inflict enough pain on the American people, Democrats will fold. And this after the American people told you they were with us. @ChuckSchumer @TimKaine
@democrats.senate.gov have no idea the fury you are about to unleash by agreeing to a deal you could have gotten weeks ago. The entire country will turn on you for this abject stupidity and weakness more than they will be angry at the GOP for taking away the subsidies.
Trump wants to end the ACA. He said Republicans should send ACA payments meant for insurers directly to Americans.
The math isn’t mathing. My premium’s up way more than the tax credit, and everyone’s costs are different. How would they manage that when they can’t manage basic governance?

I swear to god Chuck Schumer better not ruin the bolt of energy that Tuesday shot through Democrats by folding on the shutdown
The narrative will be that the @democrats.senate.gov put the country through needless pain and suffering to get a deal they could have gotten a week into the shutdown. Corporate media will ensure it. Spineless mess doesn’t win elections. Grow a pair.
Did ChatGPT tell the Democratic Party to kill itself??
40 billion for healthcare in Argentina, $0 for healthcare in America. @democrats.senate.gov What do you get from caving today instead of two weeks ago? Not only does the GOP mock you, your own voters despise you
Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.
If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Funky hand again
