Get one before they’re gone.
Absolutely one of my favorite books of 2025, this clever straight t4m romance riffs on Twelfth Night and Much Ado About Nothing.

I think the drum on our laser printer either needs cleaning or is in need of replacement. ☠️
Fingers crossed cleaning it does the trick :-/

...I just sent out two contracts to *fingers crossed* our newest authors. Also, we've still got two submissions to read which look really exciting.
It was definitely mine, so I have to agree. I was so affected by it, the moment I finished it I went back to page 1 and read it all again!

I know we've been quiet of late - mainly working on accounting stuff (and starting to calculate royalties...)
...but in small news from a small press, our ebooks are now available through itch: antithesispress.itch.io

Fortunately I noticed the problem now.
I realize this isn't a proper promotional post, but this arsehole and his accomplice woke us up at 3:00 a.m., just 3 hours after I went to sleep, and now I'm wearing my other work hat...
So, uh, check out antithesispress.com/shop for some amazing queer books.
So, turns out I had to redo the accounts because we made a decision early on that would later give us issues...
...I'm nearly back to up-to-date after a full day of work on them yesterday and have a way more sustainable process for getting them into our bookkeeping software from sales platform.
I have finally finished transferring our accounts from our setup spreadsheet into our book keeping software.

Woodworking absolutely *wrecked* me last year - adore it - recommend it a bunch. So yeah, thank you for the follow :)
God how did I miss that opportunity?!
Hopefully I can get done with catching up on accounts and calculating royalties tomorrow (hope springs eternal) and then we can get on to editing the podcast with myself and @never.horse interviewing @transcect.bsky.social ...
Between this and @zoestorm.bsky.social's To Own the Libs, we've shipped so many copies we had to order new shipping boxes...
If you're wanting to have a first print run of Bottle Blondes or To Own the Libs (or the Heart of the Woods) you can order it here: antithesispress.com/shop
I've also been having a *lot* of fun with DB Browser after I broke our accounts by misentering something and somehow deleting only part of the transaction in Frappe books, then realizing my backup was older than I thought.
If you're wondering why we've been so quiet - I'm doing accounts.
...and yes, I am thrilled that the "transfer report" generated by square shows individual transactions, not transactions that they group together to transfer daily.
...this is definitely my thrilled face.

the downside to being @incisionpress.bsky.social's US distributor is that I'm not allowed to keep all the books for myself. if you like australian poetry, queer/trans kink, or monsterf#ckery without usurious shipping, you should come take them from me, i guess.

Thank you so much! And thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough review on the storygraph! It's a huge help to a new press like ours to get the word out.
bottle blondes is an absolute delight; one of the strongest trans romances i've ever read and a book i could not put down from beginning to end
Well, I didn't expect to pack up a third of the print run last night...and we're not done.
Thank you - @transcect.bsky.social worked really hard on the edits from our editor, Kirstyn... And we worked hard to present it well :)
The new edition of "Bottle Blondes" by @transcect.bsky.social published by @antithesis-press.bsky.social is delightful. antithesispress.com/product/bott...
A favourite read of 2025. Super duper recommend picking it up. Especially if you're in the USA where the shipping prices are nicer.
This is a truly wonderful depiction of a Clueless Egg, and of how transness will find a way into their actions.
I found it very relatablerrrrrr I mean a very good read.
This is kind of a tough question to answer. There're a lot of small changes throughout the book. Language tweaks, edits for flow, edits that Zoe just wanted to make to improve things.
Joe's more fleshed out as a character... Lily's parents' relationship gets a bit more dialogue...
Absolutely one of my favorite reads in 2025!

* There will be occasional exceptions, like the upcoming photographic monograph which we'll discount for the subscription tier, but the production cost for that is... not low.
