Thank you- it’s so hard to watch your grandparent go through Alzheimer’s and lose themselves. Luckily my grandmother didn’t have too many personality changes, she was sweet to the end.

This is what happened to my grandmother. She had Alzheimer’s and several TIAs before having a big stroke. It was very sad. If it happens to him, I will be significantly less sad.

My local animal shelter has a program where you can take a shelter dog on a field trip for the day, and yesterday we did just that! Meet Raider, a full 61 pounds of kisses and wiggly cuddles. She handled a 3.5 mile walk with energy to spare and greeted everyone with polite affection.
