Absolutely love how easy it is to get the apple password manager to "fill & save" a password, consigning the current password to the memory hole. 👹

Release ridiculously often — Doc Norton & Associates The seventh behavior, “Release ridiculously often,” is usually met with nods from half of the crowd and raised eyebrows from the other half. The nodders want to know why it isn’t higher on the list…

You don’t need more time between releases.
You need less risk in each release.

A beautiful, crazy and amazing story of science right under our collective feet. I'd heard when the signal got originally reported but got distracted.

It's a great example of what makes science simultaneously fun, important and beautiful.

Hey folks, quick/odd request.. if you *recently* read "Observability Engineering" and are up for a quick 15 min phone chat, within the next 6 hr, drop me a DM?

I am refactoring the chapter list (due @ noon Friday) and could use some fresh eyes on chapters to add/drop for 2nd edition. 🙏🥰

Thanks!

I'll be the controversial one: in this case, if NATS had never been given to the CNCF, I would argue they would be *less likely* to need to pull these shenanigans. They mortgaged their ability to build a lasting business and community to get access to more potential users.

It is a conundrum- when I was in Oslo I’d go to cheese shop and buy lots of foreign cheese and it wouldn’t be outrageously expensive… is it a blanket tariff?
