I'll be the controversial one: in this case, if NATS had never been given to the CNCF, I would argue they would be *less likely* to need to pull these shenanigans. They mortgaged their ability to build a lasting business and community to get access to more potential users.

It is a conundrum- when I was in Oslo I’d go to cheese shop and buy lots of foreign cheese and it wouldn’t be outrageously expensive… is it a blanket tariff?
