Referring to a mediocre breakfast restaurant as your culture and heritage is one of the whitest things I've ever read.

The Supreme Court’s Trans Sports Ban Cases Are About Much More Than Sports For decades, trans athletes have been fighting to compete on teams that are consistent with their gender identity. Next year, the Supreme Court could put an end to it.

Before today's politically-confected anti-trans hysteria, "the sporting landscape was not always so hostile to trans athletes."
@sydney-bauer.com breaks it all down as the Supreme Court readies to take on two cases concerning trans athletes @ballsandstrikes.org ballsandstrikes.org/scotus/supre...

When people talk about "legitimate concerns" about trans athletes I like to remind them that many sports governing bodies had existing policies based on scientific/medical evidence that were working just fine until a bunch of bigots got mad and forced those organizations to reverse their policies.

That white guy who can't get a job at Timmies? He's AI.

And this is just the start. Easy enough to scrape photos and activities of a targeted individual, create an AI online persona of that individual, then have that AI fake say/do things that implicate that individual.

Attacks on Muslims flood mainstream after Mamdani win Openly racist rhetoric has become normalized at the highest levels of American politics.

We should all be disgusted by the flood of anti-Muslim remarks spewed in the aftermath of Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the NYC mayoral primary — some blatant, others latent.

Shame on the members of Congress who have engaged in such bigotry and anyone who doesn’t challenge it.

Generational change is coming: Since Zohran Mamdani won on Tuesday night, more than 1100 young people have reached out to @runforsomething.net to explore a run for local office -- one of our biggest spikes of the year yet.

The appalling smearing of Zohran Mamdani as 'anti-semitic' It's Islamophobic. It's racist. It's also completely untrue.

I got mad and I wrote about it.

U.S. rejects visas for Senegal women’s national basketball team members, staff The training camp, which will now take place in Senegal, is in preparation for the Women’s AfroBasket.

We act like medical science has FAR more answers than it actually does. The wearables obsession many people have is simply an extension of an addiction to being connected to technology and an obsession with individual bootstrapping philosophy.

Reality: little more than placebo theatre.
