Carter Springs' remains have to be burned up completely or else he'll regenerate back. What Lester and Naomi can endure might be based on video game/cartoon logic although Naomi might be a lil closer to the average human. Artemis can survive as much as the average shonen anime protagonist can.

Naomi would pick her husband and fail, since although he's trapped in one of the options for an afterlife, he's definitely still alive and kicking.
Artemis would pick his dog Meringue. (After digging her back up of course.)

Calamity Jane is friends with all of the characters in Fields of Mistria. Is shown to have at least thought that most of the bachelors are hot if not fully crushing on them. Only exception being March who is just a friend. He kinda dislikes her tbh, but she oblivious. She has a mild dislike for Valen who she thinks is a stick in the mud for getting on her case about her health and safety. Celine has a small crush on Calamity. Juniper dislikes her for being unrefined but is also crushing to her dismay.

For Naomi and Artemis, it feels like a quick-time event in those "character will remember that" videogames, despite neither of them ever playing those because of their time period. Lester is pretty quick to do the right thing but hesitates when he's choosing between the safety of two people.

I always think of Meringue of having Perry the Platypus energy, and Artemis lowkey reminds me of Doofenschmirz (loves his daughter/tragic backstory).
