Good week for the markets. Good week for the portfolios. Lagged some of the super high beta stuff, but I continue to be happy with how the model is working!

World Cup fans to MetLife Stadium will pay $150 train fares - NJ Transit Sky-high ticket prices won't be the only thing emptying the wallets of soccer fans attending World Cup matches at some U.S. venues this spring.

GoodLeaf’s Canada Indoor Vertical Farm | Sustainable Farming Explore GoodLeaf’s network of indoor vertical farms across Canada. We grow greens year-round with less water, less land, and no pesticides.

This company is up in Guelph, Ontario. I buy 80-90% of my greens from them. They're super cool! www.goodleaffarms.com/our-farms

Politician-worship is so bizarre.

You know how you support politicians? You vote for them. If you're really down with their ideas, you volunteer for their campaigns. Give 'em money. Put up a sign.

But at what part of that process do you surrender your right to criticize them?

They. Work. For. Us.

Explains a lot about your fascination with swinging bridges and rising water. I guess when you're used to waiting for the right moment to let the big boats in, you learn to appreciate a slow rise and a well-timed opening!?!?

I'd say West coast better for Dhaba/Punjabi. GTA for a wider selection of the different cuisines especially South Indian. (Still strong in Punjabi though)

I wonder if the Straits of Gibraltar is sitting on a couch with a therapist right now

"You know I used to be somebody! Back in World War II nations fought battles over me! Now I'm yesterday's news. Nobody cares who controls me anymore. I may as well be the Straits of Magellan....."

If I won back-to-back masters ... I'd defintely have the menu for next year's dinner set as "Leftovers From Last Year!"

There are some better suited for that but I can't drink them. Fermentation process (SCOBY) does produce ethanol or athyl alcohol. You can get "hard" versions of roughly 4% to 7%. Generally find those at some of the Craft Brew places ... that's right up the IPA lover's alley!!! Alas ... not for me!!!

The image is two frame cartoon.

The first frame depicts, a person wearing a Make America Great Again hat, holding a black orb and saying, “Magic 8-ball am I stupid?”

The second frame is of a close-up of the ball showing that is not a magic 8-ball, but rather a bowling ball.

Well ... it's Friday so let's take a look at my 2026 Global Thematic Model ETF Portfolio:

11.57% YTD. Broader markets are all around flat YTD so I'll take double digit outperformance.

Small Caps, Int'l, Energy, Energy Infrastructure, Aerospace & Defense ... major contributors.

Watching Melania Trump deny knowing Ghislaine Maxwell while looking like she just stepped off a Vogue set. I think I missed the point of the whole 'denying a criminal association' thing because I was too busy googling her outfit.

Haven’t seen RC in years, I loved that stuff.

I miss even just wandering the isles. The half hour of wandering around was half the fun… returning the tapes not so much
