TBH I think that the male character designs are overall too sharp/harsh specifically, and it's not an overall thing of the style.

I think the Sylvanas design is *perfect* within style, not overtly sharp or chiseled, with exaggeration when the action needed it.

The image is of Wrathion from World of Warcraft. It's a commission done by @echofey for @ClaretAsh. Wrathion, in his dragon form sits upon a tiled rooftop in Pandaria. It's gently snowing, and the background is cool and frosty blue, grey and white. Also behind Wrathion, dozens of blue lanterns float up into the clouded sky. Wrathion is vivid against the cold background, sitting with his wings slightly raised. The red membrane contrasts brilliantly against his calm surrounds.
