AOC: “This is a threat of genocide & merits removal from office. The President’s mental faculties are collapsing & cannot be trusted.

To every individual in the President’s chain of command: You have a duty to refuse illegal orders. That includes carrying out this threat”

A savage, magnificent, virtuosic and unlikely to be surpassed evisceration of "Mummy's Favourite".

In response to announcement that he will be a new CBS contributor, Andrew Huberman tweeted “I’ve always gone issue-by-issue on health & science, spoken to experts w/a range of takes & presented where I see the center of (data) mass pointed. I’ll do the same with @CBSNews”. In Sept he posted this:

Now that blood is on the street, we still won’t admit you’ve been right all decade long while we scolded and marginalized you. Instead, we’ll declare it’s just now become right to say such things.

Industry already my favourite programme on TV by some margin and then they open S4 with the Shep Pettibone mix of True Faith and then segue to Fine Time within 6 mins of E1.

There is no attitude for which legacy journalists are more often rewarded by their bosses than "Everybody needs to calm down." It is a preening announcement that you are the adult in the room, immune from emotion or overreaction or "hysteria." And it is the worst imaginable priority for this era. >

They were having a calm exchange seconds before he murdered Renee Good, and she was barely moving and clearly avoiding him.

Stop the lies.

There’s nothing so intoxicating as to drown in your own ideology, but unfortunately when you drown you sometimes take the rest of us with you.

There is a grave moral consequence to letting this go on. Shut down the government, have a general strike, grind the country to a halt, hit the streets. But not treating a demented administration lying about its thugs committing cold-blooded murder as an emergency? That is an emergency in itself.

In my eyes, anyone who defends a compromise that falls short of unmasking these agents and pulling back their unlawful occupations of our cities is a collaborator. There really is no more wiggle room for soft bellied liberalism that wrings its hands and cries about tradeoffs with fascist state.

Someone made $400K by predicting Maduro's capture. Here's what happened The winnings come as the rules governing prediction markets are still evolving.

Keep your eye on this. It’s corruption, all the way down. Profiteering, they used to call it.

Watch Kushner and Trump Jr et al “business associates” go into Venezuela to see where they can benefit.

We're in this situation because Nixon didn't go to jail for Watergate and Reagan wasn't punished for Iran Contra. The path of least resistance brought us here.

We're ruled by people in all three branches of government and across the tech/corporate landscape who think it's bad that this happened and wish the mob had prevailed, plain and simple. It's clarifying.

Yep - Screen Drafts (amongst other guilty parties) finally broke me this year and we now own a 4K player and a decent start at a collection. My kids love it too - we watched Truffaut’s Small Change together thanks to the draft & Radiance issuing it on Blu-Ray - now one of my 9 year old’s favourites

Sam Altman: hey I made a machine that stole literally all your stuff in order to make CSAM of your child actors, sometimes it encourages people to kill themselves

Disney: Holy shit here's a billion dollars

Altman: the machine loses more than that each week but thank you. Soon it will become god.
