Because a person can't have too many hobbies I'm having a go at recreating Treasure Island from the short lived Commodore Plus 4.

I used to work for them on a UK campus back in 2006, it was at a weird time. There was the skeleton of two massive office blocks just left half built because they were already in decline.

Using alien technology in guitar repairs?

Dunno, but having a candy floss machine up front is an inspired touch.

Not often you have to whip out a spirit level doing guitar work. But I'm drop-filling some nasty chips in the finish that make it impossible to play.

Vicki told me that if you knock on the door of the Ghostbusters fire house, and ask nicely, you can pop in.. and now I’ve had my life made..

I think the idea has spread (I don't know how true) that it's a way of boosting people they like into other people's feeds. The belief being that BlueSky doesn't show you to people you don't know.

However I'm sure my "Discover" feed is full of strangers. And strange people.

I would also like to find more British people on here (non-celebs). Whenever I have a quick, guilty flick through Threads the vibe is just so so different and more homely than Bluesky

Yeah, I think for the small-guy (or gal) BlueSky isn't a patch on Threads, certainly in terms of having actual conversations with people. I fear I might find myself returning after my tantrum storm-out. One day.

Without bending the laws of three-dimensional space, is it actually possible to remove the battery from a 2014 Ford Focus?

I've been trying to defend Labour about a lot of things, trying to see the overall picture and form a judgement at the next budget. But this has tipped me over the edge.

Same. Although last time I thought it was funny, now there's a chilling feeling each time.

I was about to joke "developing others" sounded like a euphemism for needing a poo... then saw "European Movement UK" in your profile and I'm going to have to be childish all day now.

Right. I'll cross "Nighttime erection data" off my 2025 bingo card.

I've got a lefty doing the rounds and was wondering how to get it close to you last week. Just to play with. One day!

Preparing to glue the binding back on this gorgeous PRS after a speaker landed on it. Then some finish repair.

Soon it'll be playable without shards of polyester entering the owner's hand!

I wonder how long you could drive in a roundabout before a cop would be like hey you can't do that anymore.

I've accidently waved at a passing car then died from embarrassment because it was a stranger but I've never accidently whipped out a sig heil.

You guys already got me addicted to Powerwash Simulator. And now the allure of Walkabout Mini Golf is there...

Totally, it's not bizarre at all. It would only be bizarre if he was a man of good standing and morals. That's what I was trying to convey.

Two step verification advocated for stricter online controls, with one step composing an ID check, and ‘two step’ equalling facial recognition.

The last step is “tickly under there”, apparently.

That might be the funniest thing I've ever read online.
