Dinner was Jamaican jerk goat with festival cakes, fried okra and potatoes with butter and scallions.
Bonfire lighting after with s'mores, cider and singing.
Later there will be carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and we'll watch "The Hogfather"

This is a nice little herbal handbook. A good introduction to more than 50 plant species in Alaska. Most of the plants in it grow on the land around my home. 🌿📚
