This is truly the end of an era for me as with her death, I no longer have any living Grandparents ( both Grandfathers died before I was born. ) If you still have living Grandparents and have a good relationship with them, please go see and hug them, you never know when they'll be gone for good.

Hey everyone,

Well, my Grandmother ( who was also my Godmother ) was buried yesterday. Can't say she didn't get a good send off because she got the send off she deserved and then some.

I did a reading during the funeral mass too as I felt I had to be part of it.

I can't believe I have to say this again so soon after the last one... shortly after the concert ended, I was informed that my *other* grandmother has passed away.

This was a really fast decline everything said. Needless to say, I'm cancelling the rest of my trip and going home for the funeral.

Saw it, I enjoyed it and feel that it was better the first one. Now to get back to my hotel to get ready for the concert.

Ahead if the Expedition 33 concert tonight, I'm first seeing Mario... at the freaking Imax!

Tomorrow night I'll be there.

Some family members had a... complicated relationship with her for lack of a better term. My own experince with her though was mostly positive and probably explains why it hit me the way it did.

Well,that was a difficult week I'm in no hurry to repeat anytime soon. We buried my grandmother on Friday ( Funerals tend to happen fairly fast in Ireland. )

That said, she got a good sendoff and that's all that really matters.I'll be OK,it's just one of the sadder parts of life.

My grandmother passed away earlier this morning. I'm omw home from work as I'm obviously in no mental state to work but not rushing either.

I am 100% glad I went up to see her last night with my parents, even if it left me shaken, I got to say goodbye in my own way.
