It is not the responsibility of a consumer to subsidize the security of the banking establishment, nor is it the responsibility of a consumer to make financial purchases that appeal to 'reputable' social standards.

If the banks concern for irreputable spending is due to claims of fraud and financial losses the bank needs to re-evaluate their lending policy in regard to how much they loan consumers, perform thorough investigations into fraud claims, and seek legal recourse for fraudulent transactions.

If we were to take into consideration the discontinuation of the penny there is potential for the government to discontinue or even eliminate all forms of physical currency. Protecting all consumers the right to legal purchase now would be paramount to protecting legal purchase rights in the future.

It is important to acknowledge and govern the unrestricted legal use of funds where digital currency has become the prevalent form of purchase. While it's use is convenient it does not supersede legality. A bank cannot deny the purchase of goods with physical currency.

I submitted my comments today.

We should all have freedom for legal purchase. A bank having the right to decide on its own merit what is or is not deemed a reputational risk opens the door to restrictions beyond what may be deemed unsavory by the fickle social standards of today.

I'd also test your KH if you can get that as well. Incorrect KH can cause PH swings & even prevent successful molts. I had a very similar issue where my parameters + GH seemed great but still had losses. So far, no deaths since adjusting to a KH of 2-3.

At least in the U.S. if the rescue/shelter notified the owner & waited the state/county legally required holding period without the owner reclaiming the animal then the owner legally has no claim & if so desired must apply/pay to re-adopt the animal if they are still available.
