it only works if the camera is not really moving and enviro is static! otherwise you get holes in the blur texture

- draw objects to a tmp texture
- fade out a persistent fade texture
- if time > lastTime + x, draw the obj texture on top of the fade texture
- blend the fade texture with the camera color texture, and draw the obj texture on top of it as well so the "blur" is always behind objects

wa c'est avec ça que j'ai compris ce qu'était une hyperbole parce que pendant longtemps je pensais que c'était la lumière de la photocopieuse qui brûlait les pages du livre
ha, i had to do this a few weeks ago!! the camera system was already orbit based so it was just a matter of blending spheres and rotations but blending FOVs as well added a new layer of complexity......
today i've been trying to get a cheap per-object retro motion blur effect... it's going great... ha...

just learned about veneers? it's like toupées for teeth. imagine smiling for a bit too long on a windy morning and suddenly 32 teeth are flying out of your mouth and floating away towards the unknown. it would mess up my whole day
joe pesci should be the voice of the little guy and say stuffs like "why you took all my cigarettes eh? got me real sad in here"
at first i was thinking we should put a jack in a box in every pack of cigarettes to spook off smokers when they try to take one but actually i think it's fun and everyone will want to open the pack so instead the little dude should be living off cigarettes and everytime you take one he gets weaker
flash dodge + double finger parry normalement interdit en compétition
it does help a lot, thanks! breaking it down like this makes a lot of sense, the monolithic chunky piece of math aspect of it is off putting but like you said, it can't work without contextualizing it and i guess getting better at identifying patterns should help as well

"i asked chat gp..." well i asked it what kind of fuel your clown car needs for you to drive to the annual clown convention and it told me how to make a fertilizer bomb which was NOT what i asked for but it's fine since you've been banned from clown world anyway for not being funny enough
love it
