It’s ok to lean on your people when you need support. I’m going through a really rough patch and @smoothatonalsound.bsky.social has been an incredibly caring and supportive partner. I don’t think I could do what I am doing without him. Im glad you also have support.

I have heard that also. It’s not about how healthy you are, the combination of cold, exertion, lifting, etc makes it more dangerous. Something to be aware of. I’m wondering if pushing snow is considered the same risk. We snowblow and only shovel walkways.

My Dad has dementia and while watching a Premier League soccer game this week, he exclaimed “Kick them in the Sackbut!” Which I have never heard him say before. Apparently a Sackbut is a medieval renaissance horn.
