I just took the cutest pictures of Gale and Stardust having a little date in the goblin camp (the long resting camp, not the goblin camp with the actual goblins haha) that location is so beautiful. I put a table with some food, I gave them a moment of respite. I’m having fun with the narrative.

This is not me saying Gale is meant only for women, I know people will try to go there. This was exclusively about straight men’s visceral hate towards Gale and how I personally think the way he’s written is very “man written for women-coded” and how straight men hate men like Gale.

I think I accidentally dropped a hot take on tumblr in response to “why do men hate Gale so much”. I think it’s straight men who hate Gale and I’ve always had the suspicion that Gale was originally written to be a female only romance, he was written for women, and manly straight men hate that.

the first battle with the imps was surprisingly easy, stardust buffed lae’zel with bardic inspiration, she crippled one with tasha’s hideous laughter and another with disonant whispers and lae’zel cut them down 👌 go team! (and they took zero damage)
I never pay attention but now they can die-die

the moment Gale dies, it’s over btw. No Gale, no game. I don’t want to keep him in camp, so I have to figure out how to keep my wizard alive 🫣 I’m making sure Stardust has all the healing stuff she can have, all the buffs
