ShotgunKatana (Combat Prototype) by Celuloide Cut and Shoot through your foes in this tiny (but deadly) Combat Prototype for ShotgunKatana

I have uploaded to Itch.io a Combat Prototype build for ShotgunKatana; It is 100% WIP, not polished at all and pretty buggy BUT you can try it and obliterate some skeletons if that's your jam. Go nuts on the poor skellys! csempere.itch.io/shotgunkatan... #indiedev #gamedev #screenshotsaturday

Another trip, another blog post — this time exploring the wild beauty of Asturias and shooting it all on film.

Just fixed the mirror of my film camera using a hairdryer and a toothpick. I’m literally unstoppable right now.

Just published a new blog post about my latest trip back to Tokyo.
It was my fourth time in the city — this time with a much more relaxed vibe.
Also wrote about my new Contax and the first roll I got developed 🎞

Just realized I never posted here this Haikyū!! animation I did a while back. Tried to make the volleyball the main character here, with the players acting more like supporting roles.

Bought the TrimUI Brick. It’s super cheap, emulates consoles up to Dreamcast, fits in my pocket, and feels solid. Guess I’ve run out of excuses to not finally play Mother 3 like it’s 2006.

People sometimes ask me how I animate cameras —
I wish I could say there’s a master plan, but I improvise as I go.
Tweaking the FOV helps shape what the viewer sees — more of the world, or a close-up.
From outside the camera, the scene’s usually a mess (*ノ▽ノ)

Hey! These rolls are from the other Contax I have (139Q), the one from the TVS is being developed right now :)

I mainly try to avoid overlapping characters or actions, and always keep the viewer’s point of interest clear to reduce visual noise.
I think anime openings are the best reference — so much happens at a frenetic pace, yet they always stay readable.
