The amendment, which passed committee unanimously, would have required the DOJ to retain, preserve, and compile records and evidence related to Jeffrey Epstein. The second post quotes Van Hollen criticizing Republicans for backtracking despite prior support, calling it “particularly egregious” and saying it shows they oppose giving Epstein’s victims and the American people the answers they deserve.
