A large, negative-polarity coronal hole is rotating onto the Earth-facing disk. Coronal holes are sources of fast wind which can spark minor-moderate geomagnetic storms at Earth. The polarity of the coronal hole may increase geoeffectiveness given the proximity to the equinox.
