I've been to Battery Park in Atlanta. Amazing stadium, but it's a sterile planned neighborhood with zero personality. Hopefully locating in the city instead of a suburban green space will prevent that here

The #Royals being direct neighbors to Our Lady of Sorrows is a little on the nose.
Maybe not, maybe it's done in a way to keep the sun out of the pitcher and batter's eyes.
Just skeeted about this. It's pointed north, which is odd
The rendering they're showing has the diamond pointed north. I always thought it needed to be in an east direction
zaslav tried to take this from us but he COULDNT it is too powerful
I'm so excited yet so nervous about what they're going to do to Crown Center. It just got old enough to longer be outdated architecture and instead be historic and is on the national register
If the hell that's my life is His plan, He can eat the deepest part of my ass
If Sherman and Q have decided to tear down Crown Center instead of using a tiny park and giant parking lot, I'm afraid the Royals won't stay in town. People aren't going to stand for that (rightfully so) and billionaire morons like Sherman will just move them

how can you not be romantic about baseball
New Kauffman chat on FB is amazing! This guy wants to put Main St and the streetcar thru the stadium which is built on multiple levels of parking
Remember, Democrats have repeatedly advanced measures to ban partisan gerrymandering and Republicans have voted against them time after time.
This is the game Republicans wanted to play. OK, then.
That's what I'm betting. The small area of the park will be more for the entrance area where crowds can gather, the stadium will be further back where the old BCBS building and parking are
No one saw the Revolution coming out of Minnesota except Prince.
Even a decade after his passing, he still inspires us all. đź’ś

Republicans may lose both Congress and the White House in 2028. But if they can cause a long and deep economic downturn, they are likely to return to power in 2030 and 2032.
If you don't want to pay towards the stadium simply don't spend money in the stadium district
Right?! Why be rich if you continue to work
Dude is worth about $85 million dollars and he's still insisting on dragging his corpse to a studio to preach hate. These people are broken
Disappointing to see groups and orgs I support running with the lie that the vote two years ago meant no stadium. It meant ending the tax that funded the Truman Sports Complex. That's it. It didn't say they couldn't figure out a new way to subsidize it. I hate lying to people to rile them up
As a former StoryCorps facilitator, this is fucking disgusting.
End the project already, Dave.
You created a good model: you encouraged people to sit and do oral history for 20 yrs.
Turning StoryCorps into a surveillance capitalism nightmare is not worth the money to keep the project going.

Star Trek The Next Generation scene. Young ensign Wesley Crusher (the boy) sits at a console on the bridge, but he's turned around like he's having a talk with safe and trustworthy adult who has walked up behind him. He looks sincere and earnest, as if it's a 'very special episode of Star Trek.' He's wearing his blue and blue and gold and red and blue again Wesley sweater, which is not a bad look, tbh. Closed caption reads, "drugs can make you feel good."
I hate how Google and Meta share my info. I watched a doc on YouTube about Boston's urban renewal that ripped out the West end (because I know how to have a good time). Then this shows up on my insta
Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.
Watch with sound on.
Earlier this evening I was walking Hugo and I dared to be crossing the street when bro wanted to turn left. I was in the intersection when he started to turn and he slammed on the brakes and yelled "yeah, go ahead and just cross!" I didn't even acknowledge him, kept walking
Nevada's largest utility says it will need three times the electricity required to power Las Vegas just to handle proposed data centers — and it probably can't do that without fossil fuels.
