Trump, the biggest failed strategist in US history, has plunged America into a strategic catastrophe.

During his self-proclaimed “victory parade” against Iran, he squandered at least 45% of the US's precision-guided missile arsenal in just seven weeks—including half of all THAAD missiles and nearly 50% of Patriot interceptor missiles. This isn't some fake news blog reporting this, but CNN, citing a CSIS analysis and internal Pentagon data. The result? An “imminent risk” of munitions depletion should a real conflict erupt in the coming years—for example, with China. Trump has ruined the US defense capability for years to come.
And for what?

For nothing.

No regime change in Iran. No destroyed nuclear program. No strategic breakthrough. Just a shaky ceasefire that gives the mullahs time to rearm while America stands naked. Trump, the great “Art of the Deal” master, has once again only produced hot air – and in doing so, burned through the most expensive and scarce weapons in the USA like a pubescent boy with fireworks.

This seems bad.

And I'm pretty sure our enemies are paying attention.

A grocery store where I am still has them at the register.

Well, hell. My grades would have been so much better if I'd known we could just do math our own way!

"Yes, Mrs Berrett, I am sure the answer is 3!"

I grew up in ruby red Utah. Voted in 2018 for independently drawn maps. moved away in 2020 while Republicans were still trying to block the redistricting the people voted for. They finally lost in court. Now, where I used to live is a new district and likely to send a Dem to congress this fall.

That SEC settlement must be feeling a little squeezy.

Not many are talking about UT but they voted to end gerrymandering in 2018 and the GOP immediately tried to block the will of the voters. It finally made it thru the courts and they have a 3rd party congressional map with a new district very likely to go to a Dem this year. I love the timing of it.

Were you asleep during Trump's first term?

I was alive - well aware that he never launched a war from a ballroom without even a conversation with congress.

So, Biden DIDN'T do it while he WAS President, Trump IS doing it NOW, but you want me to read about some guy who says Biden *might* have done it if we play pretend? He wasn't even the candidate come election night. There's a real threat in the White House. Focus.

Everything is a joke to them. They act like they're playing a game rather than playing with the real world. Warsh is not fit for this position, but Republicans will make sure he's confirmed because the only thing that matters is pleasing their king.

They've abandoned the American people and endangered people around the world for the sake of staying loyal to their orange king.

Oh, yeah, that makes me feel super safe.

Block lists get ridiculous and they're not all honest about who they add. Also, someone like Heather Cox Richardson has over 700k followers. She's not "farming."

More of this please. Don't make it so easy for people to ignore. Make their supporters justify what we can all see.

No, I don't think I like this. Nope.

The media blackout of Jared Kushner’s historic, ongoing corruption scandal As Trump's son-in-law returns to Pakistan for more talks with Iran, major news outlets are largely ignoring an egregious

As Trump's war on Iran continues, reminder that his own son-in-law Jared Kushner — who is leading negotiations with Iran — stands to profit from lucrative contracts with its regional rivals.

War gives dictators like Trump (and his family) more power and more wealth.

That would require Republicans to care about anything outside of their own circle, and they have proven over and over they do not.

This photo gets me every time. We are being lied to about his health by the Republican party. They're well aware he is not well. They do not care.

FAA Chief Dumps Millions in Airline Stock Months After His Ethics Agreement Deadline Bryan Bedford held a multimillion-dollar stake in an airline company his agency oversees.

Not enough people are talking about this.

The head of the FAA, the person whose job is to oversee the airline industry, failed to divest his MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR stake in an airline company his agency regulates.

But they're going to wear subtle nods to the First Amendment on pocket squares at the correspondents dinner.

I am rooting for you from the other coast. The entire country needs leaders willing to stand up to the man who wants to be king, and we've seen you do it in a full room, where others remained silent. You'd have my vote.

Yeah, there are other variants in silver and blue, but the red and gold is what I remember most.

This is the most important message. We have people screaming at Dems, and everyone pointing at Trump and his cabinet, but none of it happens without the Republican Congressmembers repeatedly turning a blind eye, or often publicly supporting the idea that them doing nothing is best.

🤣 I swear none of them have figured out the permanence of the internet yet.

There's a lot of us. And we don't tend to vote Republican.

Republicans absolutely believe they're too righteous to be held accountable. Trump is their favorite president, Hegseth controls the military, Gonzales is "retiring" because God has other plans. Lee celebrated a political murder publicly and is now being suggested for SCOTUS. It's who they all are.

It's still too high, even without the war or the economy, we have a president attacking our own - sending violence to his own cities, stripping money from Blue states because he doesn't like Dems, Gvt shutdown after shutdown, destruction of our history. JFC, how do so many people STILL support him?

I didn't like Chunky bars, who wants raisins in anything, but these were always on the counter and it is what I thought of first. So melty good!
