it’s been a LONG time since I did a little Meet the Artist, and a lot has changed. Where I live, the art I make, and the inspirations have all shifted with time, as they tend to do. 35 has already felt like multiple lives in three short months, but it’s a gift all the same.

I’ve been dabbling in underwater photography for an album cover and my desire to be moss has only intensified

J.K. Rowling is a menace to society whose anti-trans rhetoric is violent and encourages offline violence. Her telling people to take pictures of suspected trans women in bathrooms and disseminate them is sexual harassment. And it puts everyone in the women’s bathroom in danger.

4) Kwaidan by Meitei. This was the album that finally made the act of making music click into place in my brain and pushed me to try. Meitei has a relationship to sound that I deeply relate to, and that helped me reframe my hearing issues as a reason to try making music instead of a reason not to.
