The I6 was iconic because it was responsive and powerful for the time, both things EVs can do in spades. I mourn the death of the manual, so i agree there. However, weight distribution & a responsive chassis are not anathema to EV necessarily. Gotta wait & see on the new i3 imo.

Semi truck-caused deterioration is overblown. Yes, a fully loaded rig is very heavy at up to 80K pounds, but only actually account for 5% of miles driven. 80K*0.05=4K lbs, making them mile for mile as bad as a 4K lb vehicle. Less than many pickups.
