I dislike chatgpt for a number of reasons, but top of my list is that it's ruined em dashes for all the real writers out there.

They were – and I mean this wholeheartedly – one of our favorite things to overuse.

Got the Greyhound bus back to NYC from #PAXEast in Boston. A 20-something guy and girl ended up sitting next to each other and struck up a convo about how they'd both been to PAX (their first!) and chatted the entire way home, 4 hours straight. Games bring people together, and I love it.

Amazing! It's a wonderful font. So glad I caught it in this shot!

The Big Catch on Steam A 3D platformer all about tight expressive movement, and catching some fish, too.

Given how excited I get about *any* fishing mini game within a game, Big Catch earned an immediate spot on my wishlist: store.steampowered.com/app/2146290/...

Did not get to demo this game but it looks hilarious.

For anyone planning a booth - Nekomancer did a great job of communicating their game's selling points without having to say a word!

Another First Look game, Krakel Orakel! You have to trace the lines on your mat to draw a prompt. Your opponent draws a different prompt, then you mix in some non player prompts and guess what you were trying to draw. All of mine ended up looking a bit phallic. Hnsure what that means. 🤷‍♀️

Here's some cool stuff I've seen at #PAXEast so far:

Tag Team, an auto-battler with a mechanic where you can only add to your deck between rounds, not re-order it. Added a cool memory strategy element trying (and in my case, failing) to disrupt my opponent's moves! Find it in First Look!

Maybe next year there should be a panel on panel etiquette

I mean I'd take a bit of backstory if there was some really juicy stuff in it
