I don’t think “coronations” are good in that field clearing is bad, and no race where national leadership picked the candidate that didn’t win can be called a coronation. The field didn’t clear for Platner it cleared for Mills

“How many people are in Maine” great question, around 1,400,000. As of a couple weeks ago Platner had spoken in person to 50,000 voters. Few Mainers don’t have a relative or friend that hasn’t seen Platner speak, and everyone in Eastern Maine knows who he is

The race is over everywhere (including Maine) outside of Bluesky Mike. There were two viable candidates, one of them dominated and the other ate shit. That’s the reality. Platner happened to be the viable one with great politics. You’d know this if you actually read your own oppo!
