At #ATTD2025, Prof. Emanuele Bosi shared early results from D1ce Screen, part of #EDENT1FI. With 87.5% of participants recruited, this pilot study is proving the feasibility of nationwide screening for T1D and celiac disease in Italy.

It was an honor for EDENT1FI and EUDF to bring Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) to the European Parliament in December. Supported by Sanofi and Revvity, we highlighted the importance of early screening and learned from Italy’s transformative approach. Screening for T1D should be a no-brainer: let’s do it!
Preventing complications starts with early action. Projects like Hypo-Resolve and BEAt-DKD show the innovation in tackling diabetes challenges. At EDENT1FI, we share this vision: screening for type 1 diabetes early to prevent severe outcomes like DKA.
