At this point I dont think so. I wish I'd say the technofascist's power that run this one would one day put in check and we could better it. I just dont see it happening and I think if we could go back to wanting to building communities should be sought after again.

I dont have the brains for this but sounds like a great idea. I miss the internet when it was more about information, collaboration and actual communities.
I wonder... what if we collectively repurposed retro-tech to make a kind of literal

? Not to hide in the past but to use it to show what the net still could be... free & creative community with a reliance on self governance & accountability... & to fight corpo greed.
Haha Its on YouTube without ads. It's definitely an oddity but a time capsule of that time.
This is the docuseries on Hulu that has a 20 minute documentary about it. Turned out pretty interesting to see where the people are today. It was episode 2 I believe.
Hulu has like a 20 minute documentary on it too. Lol
Lol Watching it will probably lead to more questions. I just heard about it. A mix of 1987 political satire, stoner humor and well, a blow up Kaiju. 🤣 Super small budget like a bunch og people filming on camcorder. Its so bad but in mystery science theater way I kinda loved it. Lol
Happy 4/20!💨

Remember how a key feature of the recent Hungarian election that ousted Viktor Orban was the building of a broad cross-ideological anti-corruption coalition?
I feel like that detail is going to be important, going forward.

If you find it you'll have to fill me in!
I'd try to help bt theres been so many. 🤣 One of my favs is "Blood from the Mummy's Tomb" from 1971. Guessing it was more current than that though.
It definitely seems I'm in minority on this one so give it a shot. I personally love gore but usually need a story to back it up unless it's comedic.
It's Saturday! 📺
Post a cartoon TV series you love.
Mostly bored throughout the runtime. I hear others enjoyed it though so maybe I just had too big of expectations after loving Evil Dead Rise. I was hoping for a bit a fresh take instead of a standard possession movie with the mummy name on it.
On Evil Dead, it felt like a bit of the 2013 remake and Lee Cronin's Evil Dead Rise(Both which is love) just didnt expect it in a Mummy movie. The Excorcist parts are more in line with og. It was more og than the Blumhouse remake. Lol It just seemed like I had seen most of it and thats why I was..
You know, if you just want a kinda wild experience it's probably fun, gory experience enough for most. At 2 hours and 13 minutes, I found it be a bit of a slog but mainly because it felt more like The Excorcist, Evil Dead and a tiny bit of Bring Her Back. It was just too derivative for me.
Bit of a rough week.
Happy Friday all!
