No expert - but if this is on the copyright page of the book, or there is nothing contradictory on the copyright page (eg @publisher all rights reserved!) then I would take it as read. Of course you could always contact the author for clarity if you wanted.

We are delighted to share that TU Delft Library has joined the Open Journals Collective. The OJC is dedicated to transforming the way that academic research is supported and disseminated. TU Delft’s support for the OJC will be instrumental in helping us achieve our objectives of making journals free to read and publish in, offering a viable alternative to commercial transformative agreements, and empowering journals to flip to diamond open access. If you require a copy of this press release in an alternative format please email info@openjournalscollective.org.

V. pleased to announce this. We have been working together for some time, but the MoU helps formalise things. The divisions between books & journals in the scholarly system are ultimately arbitrary, so this kind of collaboration is vital to collectively argue for better ways of doing open publishing

RLUK's new principles call for collective funding, not-for-profit governance protected from commercial acquisition, bibliodiversity, and transparency. For us here at the OBC, these principles are at the core of our operating model. 📚 #OpenAccess #DiamondOA

Lots of enthusiasm and stimulating discussion around community-led publishing of #openaccessbooks ....

The use of impact factors in the evaluation of researchers has contributed to the distortion of scientific publishing practices and research practices, noted France's CNRS as it walked away from Web of Science, using $$$ saved to promote #OpenScience & #OpenData. www.cnrs.fr/en/update/cn...
Said much more articulately than I was able to manage! ...
Don't pose that question reluctantly! Pose it with vigour and force! Neither desire or willingness are static features. What the #copimconference showed me is that dial has moved on both - how do we keep it turning? what action(s) can we each take to turn it a little bit more? Scaling small actions!
Join Thoth, @rupertgatti.bsky.social (@openbookpublish.bsky.social) & @emmabooth.bsky.social (@uomlibrary.bsky.social) @cilipmdg.bsky.social #MetaFutures Conference.
