Commercial!
I tried watching this recently (I think it was one of your obscure YouTube link of th day) and boy was it awful ššš what a fun Easter that must have been š„³
Is Tom Bosley the first one they look at to toss out?
Concrete barriers are also still at the Remsen St promenade entrance.
Electric Viking gets it
This all came about because there was no enforcement. I report more complaints in a month than NYPD did in 7 years, despite plenty of 311 complaints. Drivers are often gone before someone could even show up. With video evidence there is no need for an officer inspection.
Yes, very much so. But itās hard to see it reflected in the data because more people are out there doing it. So complaints are up. Also, DEP takes as much as 9 months to issue a summons, so the data is always a year behind. All we have is anecdotal evidence that its gotten way harder to find āem.
A Karen, like Silkwood, right? Thanks for the compliment.
See how many idling Verizon, Con Ed and Amazon trucks you can find in an hour today vs just a few years ago and get back to me. Youāre welcome.
Hey, some narcing is good.
Consider that the only reason this program exists is because the NYPD did nothing.
Curious what your take is on what weāre doing in NYCā¦

Unfortunately the review is probably to decide what promotion he will get and how many slaps on the wrist (aka high fives at the precinct).
I didnāt either - I thought there was just a print or two that circulated around a few theaters and that was it.
I stopped this a few years ago as well. Liberating.
Yesterday in Joralemon St in Brooklyn. The white van (elderly driver whose kids need to take away his keys) smashed into and totaled a parked car, ramming it into the sidewalk. Thankfully nobody got hurt, although I would have, had I been 3-5 seconds slower. Plate had several speeding and red lights
Abolitionist place park is basically a Verizon lot.
I totally get it, but itās still safer than driving pretty much any distance.
I can't believe we opted for the "Dinosaurs series finale" timeline.

I met him once and he had that very firm handshake youād expect him to have.
Game of clones has a title on the top, vs others that do not.
@jlalibs.bsky.social is there any rhyme or reason why a box might get a top title or not?
I ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø physical media but I only have so much shelf space to keep it on. Being able to stack titles horizontally, top spine out saves space and it looks cooler too, but most importantly it allows me to keep buying more physical media.
Last time I counted surely over a decade ago I had well over 3,000 titles, lord knows what itās up to now. Theyāre mostly in one room but unfortunately it has to spill over into my bookshelves in the living room.
Hereās @criterion.bsky.social have they gotten better? Most of the ones I have that arenāt in standard cases have the blank top, but thankfully some more recently do have the title like the Ranown western set. And Iāll even settle for what they put the Pasolini top spine.
Hey @severinfilms.bsky.social you can do it, why not on everything? ššš my wallet is not nearly as limited as my shelf space.
These Shawscope box sets are even worse, with titles on only the most impractical sides. Donāt get me wrong, these sets rule but if you can print your @arrowvideo.bsky.social company logo on the side why not add the fucking title?!!
Iām trying to reorganize my bookshelves and @arrowvideo.bsky.social @severinfilms.bsky.social @criterion.bsky.social for the love of god, when putting out a box set would it kill you to print the title on the top??? Not everyone has a media basement, some of us live in apartments!
Schiller himself has a 16mm print. That may be all that survives.
At Gardaās idling variance hearing last year, while opposing a variance to begin with, I did propose that if DEP were to issue one, it should not be valid when Garda is breaking the law such as by standing in a bus lane, sidewalk or bike lane. DEP issued the variance without that stipulation.
