The first Phantom daily story, from 1936. The first half of this continuity appears in issue 20; the second half in 22. Originally penciled, inked, and scripted by Lee Falk; the art was given to Moore after the first few weeks as Falk, who was also doing Mandrake, was too pressed for time.

The cover painting by pulp magazine cover artist H. J. Ward was delivered to DC June 24, 1940. The painting hung in publisher Harry Donenfeld's office until his 1956 retirement.
Stan Kaye did the 104 and 106 covers, with Henry Boltinoff doing the Dover and Clover figures on 104. The second cover has been attributed to Boltinoff, to Kaye, and to Joe Shuster. We currently have it as Shuster ? & Kaye ?
More Fun Comics #104-106
