Ha! I bought the .com’s of each of my two nephews names when they were born. Honestly, I don’t see them ever using them, but I’ll be damned if anyone else is going to have them, so I keep renewing every year. 😆
The Aussie prime minister just gave an address to the nation that was effectively "yeah, nah, yeah, petrol is pretty expensive now, catch the train if you can you dickheads, she’ll be right mate”. 🇦🇺
Preventing the sharing of sexualised images of children is “censorship” according to Elon Musk.

Jessie is playing an absolute blinder on Traitors S4. I really want her to win! 🙌

Christmas in Australia coincides with the start of the summer holidays, so while I think there’s more stuff open on Christmas Day itself in Oz, a lot of smaller businesses tend to shut up shop for the fortnight or so afterwards.
Day 45: Feel like I’m getting so close to the end, and then I discover something new that makes me realise I’m likely nowhere near it. 😆 #BluePrince
Check out Spirited on Apple TV. It’s Ryan Reynolds & Will Ferrell’s take on A Christmas Carol. It’s no Deadpool, but it is decent festive viewing. 👍
The front page of today's Daily Mail refers to the 2025/26 budget as the one "we've all been dreading".
Remind me, how did they respond to the one where Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng fucked the country's finances sideways..? 🤨
The real BBC bias story, narrated by Anna Ford
One for @gruber.foo. 😉
Season four rewatch commences now! ☺️
You know when you Google something right before you go to sleep and then find the open browser tab a couple of days later? 😆
I read it as 1236 people. 😆
When I say I don't want to have kids but I still want to be involved in their lives, this is what I mean
It’s an impressive demo, but honestly I haven’t used it for syncing with the on screen picture since shortly after I bought it. Mostly just use it for some ambient lighting in the lounge room while watching telly.
It’s a Hue gradient strip, connected to a Hue sync box. I can either set a series of static colours, or have the lights respond / sync with whatever is on screen.
It’s pretty badass. 😜

Blocked out four weeks for our Stranger Things 1-4 rewatch.
Blitzed the first two series in four days. 🙃
Farage: epic grifter
(On reflection, I should have said "doing *only* the execution" in my first reply. That'll teach me for responding to posts as I'm falling asleep. 😉)
I've built my whole business around being the guy who does the tactical work. But that's not where my (or any other consultants) real value is. 👍
Glad to hear it. And I agree 100% - the best consultants are the ones that can and do roll up their sleeves.
I think the issue many consultants are having at the mo is that most clients want an expert who can think and do, but they often only want to pay pennies for the literal "time spent" doing.
The unfortunate irony of course being that the best consultants eventually tire of doing the execution. That, and execution is easy to commoditise and there’s always someone who’ll do it cheaper. 🫤
Tidy.
@myke.social I was going to ask you for more context regarding the seagull story.
Then I Googled and, well … never mind. 🥴
Somehow I’ve made it to 42 years old and never seen a (non-doco) movie in IMAX.
That changes this weekend. 🤩🍿 Beyond excited for Superman.
This fucking moron is going to get us all killed, isn’t he? 🤦🏻♂️
It’s not just that it’s clearly intentional, it’s that it’s clearly intentional knowing that he’s being recorded. They know they can do whatever they want with complete impunity.
