The weakest "roar" I've heard in a long, long time.

Step 1.) Develop sinus migraine
Step 2.) Decided to listen to thrash metal
Step 3.) ???
Step 4.) Profit
Even with a bad headache/migraine and sensory sensitivity, the metal never fucking stops with me.
BOLT THROWER
I had been waiting on this news since the reunited.
Confirmed: new 3 Inches of Blood coming.
As I've mentioned before, I'm a sucker for good bass riffs. As I dig deeper into Overkill, D.D. Verni is quickly becoming one of my favorite bassists.
Decided to dig into Overkill's discography. This shall be the year of thrash.
Now where to start...
(I already have W.F.O. and I Hear Black)
Last year was clearly my year of death, so I think this year will be my year of thrash.
So, to kick off I'll finish some discogs of legacy bands. Should I start with Anthrax or Overkill?
Heavy metal as fuck ๐ค
Yup, still obsessive over post-The Gathering Testament. The death metal edge just fits so well and puts them so far and above so many other thrash band (imo).
I will never get enough of Deathtament.
When he first hit the scene, I was like, "Alright, kinda down with it."
Then I realized he was literally one note while trying to pretend he was so much deeper. Empty platitudes that said nothing over the same chords every video.
Remember fellow leftists, we also have shitty grifters.
RIP GosT
An incredible artist, respected across numerous communities and genres.
Such a shame to lose such a talent.
My top 5 favorite melodeath band have got to be:
1.) Swallow the Sun
2.) Be'lakor
3.) In Mourning
4.) Insomnium
5.) Omnium Gatherum
Enjoying some Kal-El tonight. They just put out a new album and it's so good. Love some bass heavy desert rock/stoner metal.
Hello everyone. I am, in fact, still alive. Still smoking weed, still listening to mostly death metal, and still playing Minecraft.
Also, just saw a new Darkthrone album is on the way? Fucking dope.
Well now I'm disappointed in the next Frozen Soul album...fuck...
I will never get over how amazing this album is.
Relatable.
The unending battle of smoking weed and playing Minecraft or working on a new album.

90's death metal fucking rips ๐ค (with some melo/tech).
Going to obsessively listen to this for weeks.
Getting high and driving home after a rough shift blasting Iron Maiden and smoking cigarettes is a perfect way to decompress.
Well, he sounds about as good as his band: shitty.
The fucking drumming was HORRIFICLY bad. I'm not against triggers but...wow.
When art is truly a reflection of the person, absolute grabage.
Attempted to get into Mortician but when the first song is 5 minutes, and nearly 3 minutes are a movie clip...then a 3 minute song where over a minute is another movie clip? Shit is boring.
Look, not even industrial is that bad with sampling movies.
I'm a huge death metal fan, so this album falls right into my favorite era of theirs. That death metal heaviness really cemented my love for them. So hearing classic ran through a death metal wash was so rad to hear.
I LOVE that album. I love the reimagining of those classics. I'd kill to hear "Souls of Black" given a similar treatment.
I love that, of all the genres, thrash metal breeds a fierce loyalty of fans for their bands, you find "your band" and no one can dissuade you from them being the best.
Anyway, Testament is my fucking lifeblood. We're binging them tonight.
I certainly don't have plans to leave any time soon, so short of an act of nature or bad luck, I ain't going anywhere any time soon.
Got too much metal to listen to.
