Keep doing what you're doing and ignore the noise. Your videos are some of my favourites on YouTube!

Gemini on Android gives you the ability to turn off "Gemini App Activity", but doing so means that super basic functionality like "turn the volume up" doesn't work.

So, you can basically choose between having all your snippets be listened to by Google employees, or it not working at all 😕.

I have a couple of published extensions and every week I get multiple messages like this.

Knowing how common extension takeovers are is exactly why I don't trust anything other than ublock, a password manager, and my own extensions.

It's a mess and a huge unsolved problem.

Domains as handles for verification just might be the best thing about Bluesky. Much better idea than just having "clout badges".

Wow, I hadn't realised just how open Bluesky is.

I'm going to need to spend some time messing around with the protocol. So many possibilities!

Zed, but mostly because it also is an all-round great editor that happens to also have the best vim mode of anything that's not actually native vim.

The GenAI features are nice, but I still don't think any tool I've tried, including cursor, really fundmanetally changes how I work.

First impressions of #bluesky - a mix between pre-Elon (prelon?) #twitter and the good bits of #mastodon.

I really wanted to like Mastodon, but the chronological timeline just means it has really low signal to noise. One thing it does well is vibes. Let's see if bsky keeps the current vibes going.

Alright, so I'm jumping on the "Twitter is a cesspit now" bandwagon and trying this place out.

I like to read and post about #software #programming #opensource #f1 #warhammer #energy #environment 👋
