If you delete/move the bank, sforzando should complain and ask you to remove the registry entry for you.

Chipcrusher 2 by Plogue - A crush on sounds from before year 2000 - Wavepusher.com Chipcrusher by Plogue is one of the very best bitcrushers out there. It's also a sound design tool full of electronics history, simulating old game systems, speakers, monitors and electronics from their heydays in the pre-2000s. It's kind of crazy the way Plogue have accomplished this, and made it customizable and it deserves your full attention if you're even remotely into sound design or retro sound.

Brand new review of chipcrusher! wavepusher.com/review-chipc...

Earlier in the month #truecuckoo visited @plgdavid.bsky.social’s obsolete device basement and decided to turn the camera on.

Happy Saturday! Here's a little bit of some v. 80s synth film music I made, with me (🦖) 'playing the desk' live in renoise - featuring noises created with the wonderful Chipsynth OPS7 and MD vst's by my mates at @plogue.com <3 x

Love early lo-fi gaming verbs? The chipcrusher v2.123 beta update has you covered with MT32 and AWE32 effect impulse responses, captured *straight off hardware* using custom sound ROMs. Beta in our forums. CLAP and Linux too!

just complete the product names, but I think (I dont manage this) it doesn't support all chipsynth variants. just old ones.

true, but those were tested a bit more.

Oh did I say 4?, I meant 5 or 6 actually, though the last two are really prelim. That's on top of an unrelated "thing" or two. So much work ahead!

They are in the forums. The main downloads should only be for "stable" releases.

We might seem quiet, but that doesn't mean we are not hard at work! We have just uploaded beta versions of _all_ our plugins to Linux, and hope to get back to work on the 4 NEW chipsynths in the pipes full time. Yes! Three of those have not been announced yet. FC is still our priority of course.

We only have a few beta builds in our forums. (sforzando/chipsounds/chipspeech only for now) Posting a direct link on newer distributed social networks cause near DDoS attacks on our site

Compiled a fresh talker plugin in the forum with instructions. Seems it really needed the "system" -lz here

Already found the missing live dependency (for the graph error). That was a weird one. zlib's compress was missing from a component but magically worked in other situations.

The GTK even loop/redraw logic is totally alien to everything we ever did on other platforms. It will be sluggish for a while.
