Apparently the upcoming Oval Office Bible reading will feature a popular verse that mentions people HUMBLING themselves as a prerequisite to God hearing their prayers. Oh Donald... you'd better read that several times.

I have lots of unmarketable skills. Today’s highlighted skill is waste basket basketball. I am a champion. And of course all the recruiters and coaches are competing to sign me.

I think I'm gonna go binge watch the entire series of "Touched by an Angel." Because... just because. The world is very, very messed up, and I need a LOT of feel good hope of divine intervention.

It's important to know if it's a true allergy bc it means we receive Abx that aren't as effective, have side effects & promote AMR.

"While approximately 10% of people globally have a penicillin allergy label, previous research suggests that less than 5% of those with the label are truly allergic."

I like that- No Tyrants. And yeah, I think you are absolutely right that we can all get behind the principle of the thing. No one person should set themselves up as a god, dictator, terrorist in chief, etc. Basically, no... whatever the heck this is.

Graphic titled “You’ve told us... it’s essential to be able to transport children using mobility aids” has a photo of a man with one leg wearing a flat cap riding an e-assist cargo trike away from the camera with a child in the front compartment. They are on a road, going past a playground. The man is saying “I use an electric cargo trike to do most of the things I would otherwise need a car to do. It’s stable enough to take my granddaughter to school plus it’s powerful enough to carry the weekly shopping. My cargo trike gives me more independence, frees up my wife from having to do everything and makes being a grandfather more fun”.

Thank you so much to everyone who's shared their mobility aid stories and talked about what works for you - and what isn't working yet. Together, we'll keep working for better mobility options for all Disabled people.

Post says “When Vincent van Gogh wrote to his brother Theo, "Poverty stops the best minds in their tracks" quoting the Pallisy saying, and Stephen Jay Gould wrote, "I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops"

Happy birthday to Vincent van Gogh who sold a single painting in his lifetime and whose legacy I think could best be honored by supporting artists in the present, before poverty and the weight of endless struggle extinguishes their light, too

Mind-boggling. Here in NS, hospital greeters were instructed to tell visitors to take off N95s & replace them with surgical masks. They infected my cancer patient father twice, nearly killing him. Every year, I offer free HEPA filters to schools. Always declined despite a "teacher shortage".
