It has not gone how I naively hoped and assumed it would tbh

They are trying to avoid what happened to you as that would be a distraction, and choosing their fights.

The cost of this is too high imho

Diplomacy needed, it's not a playground

It would be hard to oppose US without massive costs for us. Practically speaking it's not really an option. Brexit is to blame of course as it leaves us without an alternative which is obviously much better geographically (does anything but geography count? Not sure it does).

We'll never know if that is what you would do in this position, but I doubt you would do what you are saying KS should.

Are you keeping count on all political parties? I seem to remember the Tories making loads of appointments.

I'm actively planning this, just in case

A lot of people realised this at the time, but a surprising amount supported Johnson despite everything, probably still do

Music and modern languages courses suspended at University of Nottingham In a statement the institution also says it is

These courses have not been ‘suspended’ at all; such language only minimises what is actually happening at Nottingham: a systemic gutting out of the arts and humanities with no clear business case. These cuts affect us all; please, join UCU in fighting for our future

Did this guy not know what politics is?

That's quite vague tbh. I think they are trying to damage the housing market under Labour for political reasons.

They are buoyed up by Trump's success. I don't think it will work in the UK though.

I looked this up and found it's quite common because the meaning of the word is quite broad and refers to overcoming adversity rather than attacks per se.

Not sure that will fix anything

I'm not sure silencing people is what we should be aiming for. Calling them out, yes of course.
