It’s my Husband’s Birthday today. He lives in Portugal and I live in Florida so over WhatsApp I sang happy Birthday in Portuguese with his family and did a shot of Limoncello and they released balloons with people’s pics that couldn’t be there. I hope to be there soon. Happy Birthday Handsome

This post makes me wonder in Key West what is considered an unnatural act ? I have lived here 20 yrs and have seen some crazy shit…..was there a horse involved?
"Seeing myself in you" - Watercolor on paper....old painting of an image of a friend who was fly fishing for Albacore. I pointed out that his reflection is in the shine of the fish’s skin. This was a lesson in painting what you see and not what you think you see.
It is a total differential and since Covid. Trumpy, cruise ships, and hotels are $400 a night. The Old Key West is dead…in my opinion.

“Tulips in the trees” - old watercolor on aquabord. These flowers bloom in the trees here. ...really amazing colors and shapes. I ended up scratching this painting and ruining it but was a fun journey.
In the summer they chop the whole plant down and it grows right back and produces more fruit.

“Mango man” - watercolor on paper. Mango season here there are so many I always get a few bags put on my door to my apartment. I don’t like mangoes by themselves but I chop them up and freeze them for Ice tea and make mango chutney which is AWESOME on pork chops.

Pet portrait demonstration for the Anne McKee artist fund. Years ago and they are still raising money thru their auction which gives money to local artists for projects, art supplies. It is a good program. I worked with them for years . I was on the board. NEVER PUT ME ON ANY BOARD !!!
