The primary game I play is FFXIV and seems to work well though I don't really want to use third party launchers.

Ya the only thing that I play that is affected is Battlefield 6.

Heck, if you just want a feel for Linux, you could always use a VM to play around with the interface.

I will try to give Linux gaming a serious shot. I already know some games don't work, but I am fine with that.

Got a new hard drive and set up Linux Mint on the other drive. Hit some snags, but got a lot of stuff set up. I am surprised how much of my hardware worked right away.
