A concern of mine is folks seeing the Pragmata discourse and it just...turning them off the game. Not that they believe any of it, but if some of the worst-people-to-ever-do-it are talking about a game someone may feel that says a lot.

The combat is so good I have choice paralysis when it comes to mods and hacks...so much to choose from and I've barely scratched the surface.
Been playing every possible moment this weekend. Been an absolute blast, really happy with the game's structure (Dark Souls' bonfires without the loss of XP!). Combat has kept me on edge, and things can get dicey real quick!

Forgot to share this one! LP can be super chaotic at times (the explosion effects take over the screen sometimes), and this was a fun example of me running away from Akrids into an enemy base and then the two of them duking it out while I fucked around.
Thanks so much! It's a good time, wish I was able to play the MP when it was still active, as I did tip my toes into 2's and enjoyed it there a lot.

All in all Lost Planet was pretty fun! It's refreshing too, as it does feel quite different from what 3rd-person-shooters became and are today.
I want to play 2 now, but I did play that at launch way back when but remember quite clearly solo-play being quite dull. I'll try to rope my kids into it.

The lighting here cracked me up, for a good bit I thought the backwards compatibility of the Series X was acting up. The harsh changes in lighting really confused me until...I noticed the lights above me.
Finished Lost Planet earlier this week (on Easy 🤫), I had a great time! Aiming is as wild as ever, I don't recall playing many 3rd-PS leading up to Lost Planet, but nobody doing it like this. The funny dead-zone for the camera is so...interesting. Like a dead-zone for the camera!
