The right excoriated Michelle Obama for growing vegetables and called her a man b/c she was in good shape. They called Jill Biden a puppetmaster who ran cabinet meetings. Meanwhile, Melania Trump is a ghost and contributes nothing for the tax dollars her office gets. It matters.

Sir, With Reform's victory in the Runcorn & Helsby by-election, a process that threatens to result in autocracy has begun. History tells us that all autocracies begin with populist movements making undeliverable promises.
When it is clear that the promises haven't materialised, blame is applied to everyone other than the populist. First the forces against populism are blamed, then the media and eventually the judiciary. We are seeing this in an accelerated form in the United States and will shortly be seeing it in the UK.
The pattern never varies, from 1930s Germany to modern-day Russia. It starts with one voter wishing for a painless means to achieve the unachievable, instead of accepting that difficult decisions are painful.
Voters who supported Reform will be the ones most likely to suffer.

Sir, Nigel Farage has attributed his party's success in Thursday's local and parliamentary elections to worsening illegal immigration. This from the man who repeatedly assured the electorate that Brexit would result in our being able to take back control of our borders. As always, Farage appears to have the answer to everything but the solution to nothing.

Farage and Reform whip up people’s prejudices, then offer to get rid of what they hate.Their power feeds off ignorance and hatred. They make people angrier about the stuff they fear, then promise to fix it. Of course they won’t. But they know who to tell you to blame when they fail.

Trumpty-Dumpty is defunding PBS. What he calls "bias" some of us call "facts Trumpty-Dumpty doesn't like."

Of course it is same with Moms, my daughter who works in the Spar was asked to have a photo taken with the local RF candidate. She said my Mom would disown me if I did that. I told her I would never disown her over any preference she might have. It’s how it should be. Unconditional love. Xx

I just had the ‘hots’ for you even though I was married with kids. Thought you were absolutely gorgeous. Still do if I’m honest, but please don’t be offended you were always so visually attractive. Xxx

I suppose the difference between stage comedy and television comedy is the participating audience, not sure as I’m never done anything like that in my life, but I’d sure have liked to give it a go. Xx

It would be fun as you say, I loved ‘Home to Roost’ but I suppose times move on. Don’t watch much telly these days as I love KDrama and KPop. My husband has taken to watching ‘Heartbeat’ which airs most weekdays for 2 hours. I would watch if it was Emmerdale or Corrie. Xxx

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

The premise on which Nigel Farage bases his argument for leaving the ECHR wholly fails under scrutiny

I have a huge family but the majority don’t even bother to care. The ones that do are really appreciated and loved. I’m so sorry that you feel so isolated. But I am reaching out to you because I do care xxx

That’s how I feel Reece. My whole youth has been taken up with caring for children, grandchildren and G.grandchildren so I feel I’ve lost my own destiny because ‘I cared’ for others. When I was young I wanted to save the world from injustice but it was lost in time consuming care.

How devastating this must feel for your family and others in the same situation, also the recent earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand have rocked the world at the devastation and deaths to so many people. It’s inadequate but I pray for you all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Nigel Farage says first thing he would do as PM if he won a GE would be to remove UK from the ECHR YouTube video by Peter Stefanovic

Nigel Farage has told ITV News the first thing he would do as prime minister if he won a general election would be to remove the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights

That alone is good reason never to vote for Reform UK.

THIS IS WHY

I used to run a B & B and I had to split grocery bills from domestic use and business use when it came to submit the info to my accountant I could have buried my head in the sand. Ball ache is an accurate description. Good luck. Xxx
