Our commitment: By 2030, Russell Group universities will: Be training 181,000 UK graduates with the skills the country needs to build a healthier future. This represents an additional 26,000 graduates, drawn from all backgrounds – directly addressing workforce shortages across the NHS and public health. Increase our support for new life sciences spinouts, we aim to help them secure around £5 billion in external investment in 2030. Deepen partnerships with communities, the NHS, local government, charities and businesses to develop health and care solutions rooted in local needs and experience.
Last month we launched our Healthier Communities 2030 commitment showing how our universities are building a healthier UK by training graduates, attracting life sciences investment for new technologies & treatments, and using our expertise for local needs.
