Returning to England from Lisbon airport I was very relieved to see that upon request they scan films by hand. It helps to place them in a clear bag for inspection without their boxes.

I tried that once but got really bored and I also found that it took my mind off what I should be doing in the present. But I’m sure you can pull it off really well.

While in Portugal I’ve been mostly up ladders chopping large walnut tree branches. I’ve brought my sound and photo gear but I’ve somehow become a handywoman. Not complaining. The food is great, the weather too. Strangely while I sport short sleeves, the locals are wearing coats and scarves.
