Thought the joke writes itself but I guess I need help:
Now that with nerves. AFAIK the N. laryngeus recurrens is up for an Alexandrinian solution.

It doesn't matter that Sal Khan has been serially wrong. He's important. It doesn't matter that Bill Gates has had a pernicious effect on schools, he's rich. These figures being viewed as authorities seems like part of a larger retreat from democracy. We need these people to save us.
You’d have to invade Germany, again.
Decay scheme of 214Bi to 214Po and subsequently to 210Pb. The diagram shows β-decays from 214Bi (left) either directly to the ground state (g.s.) or via excited states of 214Po (center). Approximately 80 excited nuclear states are accessible during the decay (symbolically represented). All these excited states deexcite via γ-decay emissions (red arrows), always including at least one transition greater than 609 keV. The final step is the α decay of 214Po (black arrow) directly to the stable ground state of 210Pb (right).
Comparison of the experimental data from XENONnT with the CVC theoretical spectrum (filled histogram).
New paper in PRC: with data from XENONnT, we measured the 214-Bi β-decay spectrum to the ground state of 214-Po, a first-forbidden non unique decay. The prediction based on the conserved vector current (CVC) hypothesis yields the best description of the data: journals.aps.org/prc/abstract...
This will become part of the training, too. Which might get interesting.
Success rates in the last call for COST Actions will be <7%. MSCA Doctoral Networks are <9%. Another call I submitted to last year had a rate <5%. So much of our time and expertise is spent writing lottery tickets. www.cost.eu/oc-2025-1-in...
Congratulations to the people of Hungary!!🇭🇺 and all of us!
Look at the women at NASA.
They are the ones pushing the boundaries of science, solving problems most people can’t even understand, and carrying this country forward, while our politicians right now posture and stumble through talking points.
And they are doing it all with joy.👇
Tabby stands on hind legs with one paw outstretched toward a TV displaying a capsule above water.
NASA failed to predict the real splashdown risk.
I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses
Half of The White Album sucks but no one can agree on which half it is
… meaning the “Neue Klasse” ix3 / i3 (though I love the old one but that was a cool secondary car, not that I need more than 1, max).
BMW i3?
The AI Overview actively gets things wrong about me and my career, how can I trust it with things I don't already know about
View of the spacecraft (bright, on the left), a dark thin crescent of Moon, and a very small, bright thin crescent of Earth next to it
"Orion, the Moon, and the Earth. EVERYONE, in that picture" - #Artemis II Mission Control.
I regret to inform you that the crew of Artemis II is now further from the earth than Elon Musk will ever be.
Two pictures of the pillsbury dough boy: once is on a purple background with the caption “he is risen! happy Easter!”, and the other is tan and brown, similar to a cracker, on a white background saying “he is not! Happy Passover!”
It’s time to post one of my favorite memes of the year.
Actually the Earth can be flat at any given position with particular parameters. And earth can be flat if trod upon.
But I digress.
"The real threat is a slow, comfortable drift toward not understanding what you're doing. Not a dramatic collapse. Not Skynet. Just a generation of researchers who can produce results but can't produce understanding."
Incredible footage from a United Airlines flight of the Artemis II launch.
This is the one I've been waiting for. Earthrise 2026. Not just a photo of the Earth, but a photo taken by a person, with foreground that provides context. Hopefully we'll get a bona fide Earthrise over the Moon in a few days' time.
Not totally true. There *is* SLAC.
(Irreverent aside: There is also a “Charles Marx Way” off Sandhill road - as former East German “political nonconformist “ it was a strange address to have for a while, even if different Marx…)
Need more space for DNA repeats.

Using AI would defeat the entire purpose and pleasure of writing.
I have no more interest in using AI to write than I have interest in letting another person run a marathon for me.
The arrival isn't the point, nor the beauty of it.
It’s pro immigrants; naturalizing the next generation at birth.
The problem are the countries with the “special conditions“ like Germany where the emphasis is strongly on “German by ancestry” (though there it has vastly improved compared to 20ys ago).
