Today, I’m proud to announce the AI Dividend, my plan to prepare for the AI economy with direct payments to Americans funded by tax reform that simultaneously incentivizes hiring humans instead of AI. Read the full plan here: alexbores.nyc/ai-dividend
Happy Field Day!🌤️ Our amazing volunteers are what powers this campaign and none of this would be possible without them. To everyone who showed up today and everyday: thank you. This is how we win.
For our city, our climate, and the birds.
NY's 34,000 doormen, supers, handymen, and other building workers keep our city running — and they deserve a fair contract, a living wage, and the dignity that comes with both. Now it's our turn to show up for them. I stand proudly with
@32bjseiu.bsky.social.
*$2.42 million to be exact.
They really are afraid of us.
We've made progress here in NY but in Washington, Trump and Republicans haven't just blocked free filing—they've defunded it. It's time for government to work for you, not the powerful companies profiting off tax season. That's what I'll fight for in Congress.
Tax filing should be free, easy, and automatic for every American.
I ran on that in 2022 and it's why @agounardes.bsky.social and I fought to make NY one of the first 4 states to deliver free filing for state income.

Unions Rock the City! #SAGAFTRA hosted our annual celebration of the NY film, TV, & media industry. Thx @nadler.house.gov, MBP @bradhoylmansigal.bsky.social, MOME Comm. Rafael Espinal, Assemblymember @alexbores.nyc & the amazing NYC Council @speakermenin.bsky.social for your #UnionStrong support!
I will always fight for good union jobs, strong contracts, and a transit system that is safe and reliable for the workers who run it and the riders who depend on it.
I'm deeply honored to have the endorsement of @twulocal100.org and the tens of thousands of transit workers who keep our city moving every day.
Alex Bores, a former Palantir employee, helped pass one of the country’s toughest AI laws. Now Silicon Valley’s biggest names are trying to stop his rise to Congress. www.wired.com/story/the-bi...
For this week's @wired.com Big Interview podcast, I sat down with @alexbores.nyc.
A former Palantir employee turned state rep now running for Congress, Bores' position on AI regulation has him in the crosshairs of Big Tech -- who've funneled millions into a Super PAC to try and stop him:
On Yom HaShoah, we honor the 6 million Jews and millions of others murdered in the Holocaust. We carry forward the testimony of survivors and recommit ourselves: never again
NY-12 is home to one of the largest and most vibrant LGBTQ+ communities in the country—and you deserve a champion in Congress. Join me for an LGBTQ+ Town Hall and Mixer in HK! Sign up today: mobilize.us/s/l5FoHY
Our children deserve a better New York.
- Repeal the Faircloth Amendment, which stops the federal government from funding net new public housing
- Fight for dollars to directly repair NYCHA
- Adjust AMI thresholds to reflect NYC’s cost of living
- Expand Paid leave for new parents
- Expand the Child Tax Credit
The wealthiest city in the world has 1 in 4 homeless students. Our children deserve a better New York and in Congress I have a plan to leverage federal resources to fix it:
I'm running to fight and deliver for you.
I haven't just taken the fight to Trump, I've beaten him on one of the most pressing issues of our time: AI safety. Now, his megadonors are spending millions to defeat our campaign because they know I'll bring that effectiveness and expertise to Congress.
There's nothing quite like Stuytown on a spring morning. A few highlights from the community today at the 1st Ave stop: a conversation about affordability, connecting with students on their way to school, and showing our neighbors exactly what Trump's megadonors fear when we stand together.
This attack on Sam Altman's home is unwarranted and unacceptable and the person responsible must be held accountable. Sam and I may disagree on many things but we are all human and we cannot allow ourselves to lose the humanity at the heart of the debate over the future of AI safety.

I’m running for Congress to make sure NY still works for working people.
🚨LEVER TIME: He once worked in the tech industry, then he passed landmark AI regulation - now he's a target of retribution.
How tech oligarchs aim to buy an election, destroy Democrat @alexbores.nyc's career & intimidate every other politician in America.

Thank you!
My hands are still frozen, but had so many warm conversations at the subway this morning.
Today's topics from our neighbors: What can we do for young people, affordable housing, and good jobs that pay a living wage.
