Unlike the ECtHR in its own climate cases, the ICJ held an expert hearing with top climate scientists this week. Making it the first of likely many differences between these proceedings (after all, KlimaSeniorinnen was a concrete contentious case, while the ICJ is preparing an advisory opinion).
