Howling Dark blew my mind and made me realise this series was something special.
a screenshot from episode 38 of the Digimon Adventure anime reboot that came out in 2020. it shows the character Gabumon being crucified. this is after he is kidnapped by Mephistomon, a fallen angel digimon, & then ritualistically sacrificed to try and resurrect an ancient evil god digimon named Milleniumon. this was in the cartoon. they showed this to children.
today we give thanks to Gabumon, who long ago digi-died for our digi-sins 🙏

Correct, although it’s not the same Director, David Leitch directed Atomic Blonde. I’ll be honest I’ve not heard of the guy directing this, but apparently he directed those Netflix Extraction movies which weren’t great.
